Vincent van Duysen
Belgian architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen is one of the defining voices in contemporary European design. Born in Belgium in 1962, he studied architecture at Sint-Lucas in Ghent before working with Aldo Cibic in Milan and later establishing his Antwerp-based practice. His work moves seamlessly between architecture, interiors, furniture and objects, with each discipline informing the others.
Van Duysen is particularly known for spaces and objects that feel quiet, tactile and timeless. Natural materials, restrained palettes and rigorous proportions are recurring elements, but his work retains warmth and a strong sense of human experience. For Trove, his work is especially relevant through Arflex and Serax.

“I see my style philosophy as the application of pure and tactile materials which then results in a clear and timeless design.”
